1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Vuku, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for a business or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. The service
Vuku provides tools for managing projects, recording time, organizing project roadmaps, preparing client updates, creating invoices, sharing client-facing progress pages, and receiving feedback. Features may change as the service develops.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Your content and client information
You retain ownership of the project information, time records, files, messages, invoice details, and other content you submit. You grant us permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as necessary to operate and improve the service.
You are responsible for having the authority to provide client names, email addresses, project materials, and other personal or confidential information to the service.
5. Public client pages
When you enable a client portal, anyone with its unique URL may view the information intentionally exposed on that page and submit feedback. You are responsible for deciding what project information is appropriate to share and for protecting the URL from unintended recipients.
6. AI-generated content
The service may use artificial intelligence to prepare drafts of progress updates, invoice descriptions, and line items. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content before relying on or sending it. The service does not automatically send client updates or invoices unless a future feature clearly states otherwise and you explicitly enable it.
7. Billing, invoices, and taxes
Vuku helps prepare records and documents but does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You remain responsible for invoice accuracy, contractual obligations, tax treatment, collection, recordkeeping, and compliance with laws that apply to your work.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to violate law, infringe another person’s rights, distribute malware, gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, send spam, or create fraudulent or misleading documents. You may not attempt to reverse engineer or abuse service infrastructure except where applicable law expressly permits it.
9. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties for functions such as authentication, hosting, data storage, email delivery, and AI generation. Their availability and processing practices may affect the service. Your use may also be subject to their applicable terms.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, introduce limits, or update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or address a material violation of these terms.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, Vuku will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of the service.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms may be submitted through the contact or support channel made available within the service.
